Returns & Exchanges

Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Online furniture sales are considered special order and are final. Sale items and items purchased using a promotional discount are also considered to be final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]
General
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]To be eligible for a return, your items must be returned in their original condition (unused and unaltered) with the tags attached.
Only regularly-priced items may be refunded. Other non-returnable items include:
- pillows, bedding, curtains, one-of-a-kind pieces, and art prints are final sale
- special order items are made to order and a non-returnable
- gift cards
You should be aware that all items being returned to us remain your property until received by us.
We reserve the right to deny a refund of returned merchandise if it does not meet the requirements of this Returns and Exchanges Policy.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
In-store purchases
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]For items bought at our St George’s location, please present your invoice or gift receipt when claiming a refund or requesting an exchange.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Online purchases
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]No returns on online purchases will be accepted without prior contact with us and verification that we have approved the return. Do not instigate a return until you have received confirmation from us that you may do so. Unauthorised returns may not be refunded.
If you would like to return a product that has been purchased through this website, please email us at hello@gregorynelmeshome.com within 7 days of placing your order with your order number or other proof of purchase, the reason for the return and whether you would like a refund or an exchange.
We take the utmost care in the packaging and transport of your purchases and although we do our best to make sure all items arrive in perfect condition, damage sometimes occurs in the shipping process. It is very important that you keep all boxes and packaging so your carrier may inspect the delivery. This assists us in the apportionment of responsibility. If an item arrives to you with damage due to shipping, please contact us within 48 hours with photographs of the damage and details. Some items which are handmade or one-of-a-kind may have slight variations or imperfections which are not considered damage and these items are sold “as is”. If you believe the product is faulty, please send us a photograph of the fault. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we may not be able to offer you a full refund or an exchange.
All items that are being returned must be re-packaged to the same standard of protection as when they were initially shipped or delivered. When returning items, please be mindful that many of our items are of a fragile nature and must be packed with care. We ask that all fragile items being returned are wrapped in bubble wrap and sent in a box to ensure it reaches us in an undamaged condition. We will not be liable for items broken in return transit due to inappropriate packaging on your behalf.
The item will be inspected upon return, and a refund based on its condition may be issued. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Please note that it may take some time before your refund is completely processed and a record of it appears in your account.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- if an item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error; or
- if an item is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
We will process your refund within 7 business days of the return arriving at our address, followed by a confirmation email.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Exchanges
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]If you would like to exchange an item you have purchased through this website, we suggest that you place a new order for the item you want before returning your original purchase. This will ensure that your exchange item is in stock. You are then welcome to return your original order for a full refund. Once we receive your return, we will process a refund for the cost of the returned item and send you an email.
